We are looking for a Production Operative to assist with the assembly and fabrication of these units. This is a full-time, temp to perm role involving manual handling and basic welding, ensuring the quality assembly of materials for production.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Operating tools and machinery
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
- Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently
Key Responsibilities
- Drawing Interpretation: Reading technical drawings to determine the number of bars and links required for each cage.
- Marking Out: Measuring and marking the precise positions for links and bars.
- Welding: Tacking the steel components together.
- Assembly: Manual assembly of steel reinforcement cages and accessories.
- General Labour: Operating basic tools and machinery while maintaining a safe and organised workspace.
Requirements
- Welding: Basic MIG or MAG welding experience is essential.
- Accuracy: Ability to follow instructions and read production drawings accurately.
- Environment: Prior experience in a fabrication, steel, or heavy production environment is preferred.
