The Role

We're working with a well-established environmental services business looking to add a Transport Coordinator to their Coventry team. This is a fully office-based, fast-paced role, supporting the day-to-day planning and coordination of vehicles and drivers within a busy waste operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule vehicles and drivers to maximise efficiency
  • Support transport compliance (driver hours, tachographs, maintenance) alongside the CPC holder
  • Deliver a high level of service to customers and internal teams
  • Work closely with other departments to meet operational needs
  • Support driver management, including holidays, performance, and attendance
  • Ensure all training and compliance records are up to date
  • Assist with reporting and general transport administration
  • Take part in an on-call rota

About You

  • Experience in a transport office
  • Waste sector experience (desirable)
  • Route planning experience
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Proficient in transport systems
  • CPC qualified or willing to gain (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
