The Role
As Site Agent, you'll hold full responsibility for the safe, efficient, and commercially successful delivery of a key section of works. You'll lead multidisciplinary site teams, ensuring operations are delivered to programme, budget, and quality expectations. Key responsibilities include:
- Taking full operational control of a major work package
- Leading Senior Engineers, Section Engineers, and site teams
- Managing subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners
- Driving short-term planning and programme performance
- Acting as the main client contact and attending progress meetings
- Overseeing health & safety compliance and maintaining high standards on site
- Reviewing and approving RAMS
- Working closely with commercial teams on cost control, reporting, and forecasting
- Identifying and mitigating delivery risks proactively
- Ensuring technical and quality compliance across reinforced concrete and marine works
About You
We're looking for a proven Site Agent with a strong heavy civils background. You'll bring:
- Experience delivering major civil engineering projects in a Site Agent role
- Strong expertise in reinforced concrete structures
- Marine or major infrastructure experience (desirable)
- A track record of managing teams and subcontractors successfully
- Strong commercial awareness and NEC contract knowledge
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Degree / HNC / HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Eligibility to obtain SC Security Clearance
You'll be organised, decisive, and confident operating in a fast-paced live project environment.
