A Local Authority is seeking an experienced EHC Caseworker to provide short-term cover for an existing caseload within a busy SEND service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans
  • Draft and amend Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to a high standard
  • Coordinate and lead Annual Reviews
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
  • Ensure compliance with statutory SEND processes and timelines

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as an EHC/EHCP Caseworker within a Local Authority
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory processes
  • Demonstrable experience producing EHCPs end-to-end
  • Experience chairing or managing Annual Reviews
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision

Working Arrangements

  • Hybrid/agile working model
  • Office attendance required 2 days per week (Monday and Thursday)
  • Remaining days worked remotely
