The Role
As Deputy Head Teacher, you will support the Head Teacher in providing exceptional leadership, direction and day-to-day management across the school. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards, developing outstanding practice and creating an environment where both students and staff flourish. You’ll be a visible, approachable and motivating leader who can champion inclusion, drive educational excellence and make a genuine impact on young people’s lives every single day.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Further professional qualification in a relevant area
- Experience teaching within a specialist ASD/SEMH setting
- Experience leading whole-school initiatives and turning strategy into successful practice
- Proven leadership experience across a significant area, phase or inclusion provision
- Experience working with governors, trustees or executive teams
- Quality assurance experience including lesson observations and performance management
