Are you a Laravel Developer looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact across modern platforms and business‑critical systems? We're recruiting on behalf of a growing and forward‑thinking business seeking a Mid‑Level Laravel Developer to join their expanding tech team based onsite in Crewe. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who enjoys both building new applications and modernising legacy systems, while working closely with operational teams and stakeholders across the business. You’ll become the onsite technical representative for the central IT team, playing a key role in delivering scalable, high‑performance solutions across internal and external platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining web applications using Laravel and PHP
- Migrating legacy systems into modern Laravel architecture
- Building scalable multi‑tenant SaaS platforms
- Integrating third‑party APIs and services
- Developing frontend functionality using Vue.js or React
- Optimising databases and implementing caching strategies such as Redis
- Supporting internal systems and troubleshooting technical issues
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver business‑focused solutions
- Contributing to performance improvements, security enhancements and development best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ software development experience
- At least 2 years’ hands‑on Laravel experience
- Strong PHP and Laravel development skills
- Experience with REST APIs and database optimisation
- Knowledge of Vue.js or React
- Familiarity with Redis, Git and CI/CD workflows
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Nice to Have
- Java (Spring Boot) experience
- Python experience
