Pay Rates:

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent): 21.58 PAYE / 25.16 Umbrella
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent): 22.30 PAYE / 29.98 Umbrella

Shift Pattern:

  • Rotating Days and Nights
  • Day Shift: 06:45 – 18:15
  • Night Shift: 18:45 – 06:15
  • Scheduled rest days included

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on passenger rail vehicles
  • Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical defects
  • Vehicle inspections and examinations
  • General mechanical maintenance and repair work
  • Completing maintenance documentation and job cards
  • Working safely and following depot procedures at all times
