Our client is a specialist manufacturer of advanced material solutions, supplying high performance products into the automotive industry. The business is investing heavily in innovation and is now looking for a Technical Manager to lead R&D activity and support the development of new and existing materials as it enters a period of growth. Reporting to the Group CEO, you will sit at the centre of the technical function, driving product development, testing and material innovation.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead R&D and technical development activity
- Support new product introduction and validation
- Manage testing programmes and material performance analysis
- Work closely with engineering, quality and commercial teams
You will also play a key role in developing and improving a flagship nonwoven material technology, ensuring performance, cost and sustainability targets are met.
