Responsibilities
- Prepare corporation tax computations and support the end-to-end compliance cycle
- Deliver IFRS tax reporting, including statutory accounts, interim reporting, and tax notes
- Support audit processes and provide analysis to internal and external auditors
- Produce cash tax and forecasting models
- Assist with tax advice on commercial transactions and restructuring activities
- Promote tax policy adherence and respond to ad hoc queries
- Collaborate with group tax teams, UK finance functions, and external advisors to ensure accurate and consistent tax outcomes
Qualifications
- ACA / CTA with a minimum of 5 years' experience in in-house tax or large corporate tax
- Experience with Alpha tax preferred
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Ability to manage tax projects autonomously with stress reliance and accuracy
- Help to build or enhance tax and business networks to make work more effective
- Proactive approach to acquire knowledge and awareness of the business to provide commercially focused tax support
