Hays Senior Finance are working with a fast-growing manufacturer in Lincoln to recruit a Management Accountant.
Your new role
Reporting to the senior finance lead, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate management accounts and providing financial insight to support business decisions. Key responsibilities include preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, cost and profitability analysis, inventory and stock control, and supporting month-end processes. The role also contributes to maintaining strong internal controls, VAT compliance, and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be part-qualified or qualified (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent), with proven management accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment, and strong stock management expertise. Advanced Excel skills, strong analytical ability, and the confidence to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders are essential. You will be living within a commutable distance of Lincoln as the role is office-based.
