About the Role
We're looking for a driven and strategic Asset Care Manager to join our manufacturing operation and lead the reliability and performance of our plant assets. This is a key leadership position where you'll be responsible for developing and implementing asset care strategies that maximise equipment uptime, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the site's asset care and maintenance strategy
- Drive a proactive maintenance culture, moving from reactive to preventative and predictive approaches
- Manage and develop a team of maintenance engineers and technicians
- Deliver improvements in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), reliability, and asset lifespan
- Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
- Implement and optimise CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage maintenance budgets
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and continuous improvement teams
About You
- Proven experience in a maintenance or asset care leadership role within manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of Lean, TPM, or Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) principles
- Experience managing teams and driving cultural change
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Background in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar)
- Confident using maintenance systems and data to inform decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
