We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Recovery Driver to join a busy and professional transport team on a temp to perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable driver with recovery experience who takes pride in safe, efficient vehicle movements and high standards of work.

- £18.00 per hour – rising to £22.00 per hour after 12 weeks

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 06:30am – 05:00pm
- Average shift length: approx. 10 hours
- Some weekend work may be required depending on business needs
- 30‑minute unpaid break per shift
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient recovery and transport of vehicles using company recovery vehicles, including flatbed lorries. You will ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with compliance standards.
Duties Include
- Safely operating Class 2 recovery vehicles
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring compliance with road safety and driving regulations
- Communicating effectively with transport and office teams
- Assisting with loading, unloading, and vehicle recovery tasks
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points accepted
- Good geographical knowledge of the local and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous recovery experience desirable
