Self Employed Delivery Driver - Wanted - Immediate Start! Carlisle £4.25 - £7 per drop Temp to Perm

Are you an experienced Delivery Driver? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Self Employed Delivery Driver on behalf of a leading logistics company seeking a motivated individual to join their team. This role offers long‑term work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • The candidate MUST OWN H3H3/H3H2 LWB VAN.
  • Public Liability limit £5million
  • Goods in Transit £20,000
  • Motor Certificate Insurance For Hire and Reward
  • Must hold a full UK driver's license.
  • Minimum of one year experience in multi‑drop delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle inspections to ensure that the vehicle is road worthy.
  • Maintain the vehicle clean & safe.
  • Be responsible to deliver correct item to the right address.
  • Maintain a driving log & complete daily paperwork to ensure that each delivery is carried out correctly.
  • Ensure you follow local driving laws & road regulations.
  • You will be required to deliver to a minimum of 45 parcels. Packages can weigh up to 40kg.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Deliver efficiently, be customer friendly and work on a daily/hourly schedule.
