Responsibilities:
- Oversee the commercial management of rail station construction projects, ensuring budgets and contracts are efficiently handled.
- Manage the negotiation and implementation of contracts, ensuring compliance with rail industry standards and client specifications.
- Monitor project progress, finances, and risks, providing regular updates and mitigating any commercial issues.
- Ensure high standards of commercial operations and delivery across the rail station project.
- Work directly on‑site in Cardiff for 3 days a week, ensuring smooth execution of all commercial elements of the project.
- Collaborate with senior management, contractors, and key stakeholders to drive project success.
- Assist in managing the NEC contract (likely Option A or E) and deal with any changes or challenges that may arise.
