Responsibilities:
- Ensure the supply of both clean laundry and housekeeping service throughout the home and contribute to the provision of cleaning, laundry and domestic services.
- Ensure all areas of the care home are clean, hygienic and well‑maintained, including bedrooms, communal spaces and bathrooms.
- Handle laundry and linen care with attention to residents’ personal belongings.
- Interact with residents, offering assistance when needed to help them feel at ease.
- Maintain housekeeping supplies and report any shortages to the manager.
- Work closely with caregivers and other staff to support the overall care plan and home operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting.
- Flexible and reliable attitude.
- Committed to customer care and first‑class service provision.
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
