Thrive Personnel Ltd are looking to recruit a skilled Upholsterer to join our clients team in central Bradford. Hours 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday, 3pm finish Friday. £15ph

Responsibilities

  • Working under the guidance of the seating department supervisor, you will handle all upholstery tasks within the department.
  • Maintain a high level of quality in your work and be mindful of the quality standards of your teammates.
  • Comfortable working closely with others and adaptable to handle multiple tasks as needed by the business.
  • Manage demands through our systems to ensure timely completion of all activities.
  • Complete upholstery work for both current and future product lines.
  • Review bills of materials to flag any issues to the supervisor or Engineering.
  • Measure and cut materials using both manual and automated tools.
  • Operate single and twin sewing machines to sew upholstery.
  • Build or repair upholstered furniture with various hand and power tools.
  • Assemble and quality check products.
  • Support new product development and consult with internal customers to ensure the final product aligns with client expectations.
  • Train new team members and maintain a first-time quality rate above 99%.
  • Use MRP systems to book off completed works and ensure projects meet deadlines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on tools and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
  • Any other duties required to support the role.
