About the Role
The Supply Register are working in partnership with Beckfoot Trust to recruit experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support primary schools across Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HLTA to take on a varied role, including delivering whole-class lessons in the absence of the teacher, leading small group interventions, and supporting pupil progress across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage whole classes when required
- Lead targeted interventions to support pupil progress
- Support teaching and learning across the primary age range
- Assist with planning and assessment where appropriate
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations
- Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold HLTA status or equivalent relevant qualification/experience
- Have recent experience in a UK primary school
- Be confident delivering lessons independently
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be adaptable, proactive and professional
- Have a sound understanding of safeguarding procedures
