Position Qualifications
- Basic arithmetic and English (reading, writing) skills to enable them to follow instructions and document work performed correctly.
- Mechanical or related academic qualification i.e. BTEC/HNC/NVQ or apprenticeship.
- Minimum of 3 years aircraft MRO industry experience.

About the Role
Part of a team performing repairs, overhauls and technical inspection/evaluation of commercial aircraft Thrust Reversers and Nacelles, working to OEM, UKCAA and EASA approved standards in a fast paced, high precision environment where safety and quality are paramount.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
- Obtain approval, perform evaluation, inspections and perform certifying signatory duties as business demand requires.
- Apply mechanical assembly/bonding knowledge, achieve required internal approval level of Authorized Tradesperson.
- Perform tasks to required standards of the Maintenance Repair Overhaul and/or Production of aircraft components, ensuring Quality, Cost, Delivery, TAT and accurate documentation.
- Understand work scope requirements and liaise with support teams to highlight concerns.
- Meet deadlines to ensure order completion from evaluation.
- Support and drive projects and Continuous Improvement activities.
- Travel to customer sites to perform inspection and repair services where required.
- Be flexible in supporting shifts and overtime as required as part of business needs.
- Communicate at all levels of the business both internally and externally when required.
- Model safety awareness and adhere to safe working practices.
- Proficient in IT packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
Work Schedule
Shift patterns will be expected to work, and shift allowance paid. 2 weeks of 6am-2pm days and 1 week of afternoons; hours of work will be 10am-6pm Monday-Friday.
