You will be working for a multinational organisation based just outside of Birmingham City Centre. The organisation operates on a business-to-business basis within electrical and manufacturing. You will work as a credit controller for the business on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role.

Hays are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a well-established electrical and manufacturing business on a 3-month temporary assignment, starting immediately. This is an office-based role located just outside Birmingham city centre, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person who demonstrates capability and commitment. The role will involve managing the credit control function, maintaining customer accounts, chasing outstanding debt, resolving queries, and supporting the wider finance team as required. The position offers a £29,000 salary equivalent on a temporary basis.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous credit control experience or clear working knowledge of credit control demonstrated at interview.
  • A switched-on, bright and hardworking approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence using your initiative and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
