UX/UI Digital Designer Birmingham (Hybrid – 2 days office based) Up to 45,000 + benefits

We're working with an exciting consumer focused business looking for a creative and commercially minded UX/UI Digital Designer to help shape and enhance digital experiences across a growing online platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast moving team where you'll have genuine influence over customer journeys, website experience and digital optimisation initiatives.

Opportunity

You'll play a key role in improving and evolving web experiences, creating intuitive journeys and visually engaging digital designs that not only look great but also drive performance. Working closely with ecommerce and wider business teams, you'll support projects focused on usability, customer engagement and conversion improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design user journeys and web experiences across landing pages, navigation and digital features.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity designs using Figma.
  • Improve website performance through UX best practices and customer insights.
  • Use user behaviour and analytics data to identify opportunities and pain points.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Support the development and evolution of design systems and reusable components.
  • Ensure designs are accessible, responsive and aligned with best practice principles.

Qualifications

  • 3–4+ years experience within UX/UI, Digital Design or Web Design.
  • Strong Figma experience.
  • Experience creating responsive digital experiences.
  • A good understanding of UX principles and customer‑first design.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, collaborative environments.
  • Strong visual design skills with a portfolio showcasing problem‑solving and user‑focused work.
  • Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams in agile environments.

Desirable:

  • Ecommerce experience.
  • Exposure to CRO or A/B testing activity.
  • Understanding of design systems and reusable components.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS or front‑end limitations would be advantageous.
