Full and part time, permanent Senior Care Assistant roles at £15.20 per hour, paid breaks! Days and nights available:

  • Day shifts - 7:00am-7:30pm
  • Night shifts - 7:00pm-7:30am

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic 30 bedded elderly care home in Bingley who are looking for Senior Care Assistants on days and nights to join their dedicated team. We are looking for caring and compassionate Senior Care Assistants who can manage a team, solve problems, show good judgement and communicate with all sorts of people.

The residential care home is part of a long-established charity with great opportunities for progression and a strong history supporting their staff to realise their full potential. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will promote high standards of care by ensuring all team members are trained and supervised appropriately and you will communicate professionally with staff and residents alike.

The successful Senior Care Assistant candidate will be patient, caring and able to provide a quality service to residents within a care home environment whilst enabling them to lead an active and independent life. Ideally, candidates will have NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be medication trained.

The care home is easily commutable by road with ample onsite parking on offer and is also only a short walk from Bingley train station and multiple bus stops.

Senior Care Assistant Duties:

  • Assist the other Senior Carers and Care Assistants with care delivery in the home
  • Support all members of the care team to realise their potential
  • Shift leading
  • Develop own knowledge and practice relative to continuous service improvement
  • Making a difference to each individual's life in everything you do.

Senior Care Assistant Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a Residential Care Home or Nursing Home
  • Previous experience as a Senior Carer / Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
  • Medication trained
