Your new role as a Senior Project Manager involves leading complex, cross-functional projects focused on business transformation, change control, and product life cycle optimisation. You will work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Commercial teams to:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of high-value, complex programmes across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Drive business transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and organisational priorities.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution, including development of detailed Gantt charts, resource planning, and critical path analysis.
  • Manage validation-related deliverables, including risk assessments, validation plans, and supporting GMP/IVD requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing robust contingency plans to ensure delivery timelines are maintained.
  • Take ownership of project governance, including tracking KPIs, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all project-related activities, ensuring clear communication across cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to the development and standardisation of project management best practices across the organisation.
  • Support and mentor project teams, helping to drive high performance and continuous improvement.

This is a highly visible role with direct input into strategic decision-making and transformation initiatives, offering the opportunity to influence both operational and organisational direction.

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capability, including:

  • Experience in senior project management roles within regulated environments.
  • Track record of delivering end-to-end complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, and IVD regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working within manufacturing and/or product development environments.
  • Strong capability in project planning and execution and critical path management.
  • Experience managing validation activities, risk assessments, and quality documentation.
  • Proven skills in risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive alignment across diverse teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving capability with a proactive and structured approach.
  • High level of organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.

Preferred (Not Essential):

  • Advanced degree (M.Sc. or similar).
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Previous experience within the IVD or diagnostics sector.
