We are now looking to recruit an HR Advisor to support managers and employees across our business. Reporting to the HR Director, this is a broad generalist role responsible for delivering professional HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You will provide advice, guidance and practical support across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement and HR administration. The role combines HR advisory responsibilities with operational HR activities, ensuring people processes are delivered effectively, consistently and in line with employment legislation, company policies and business requirements. It is well suited to someone who enjoys building strong working relationships, is organised and proactive in their approach and is confident supporting managers across a wide range of people matters. As our HR Advisor you will: Provide professional HR advice and support to managers and employees across a wide range of people matters Support employee relations activities, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance management cases Coordinate recruitment activity from vacancy approval through to offer stage, supporting managers and candidates throughout the process Support performance management, learning and development activities across the business Maintain accurate HR systems, records and management information, ensuring compliance with data protection and employment legislation Support payroll administration by ensuring employee changes are communicated accurately and on time Assist with employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and company events Support the review and maintenance of HR policies, procedures and compliance requirements Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes and systems CIPD Level 3 qualified, or possess equivalent practical HR experience Previous experience within a generalist HR role Experience supporting employee relations matters Good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice Experience using HR systems and maintaining employee records Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Positive, flexible and adaptable approach Experience supporting recruitment and learning and development activities Experience producing HR reports and people metrics Join us and help support the people who are shaping the future of health and well-being through science.
