The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Gi Group are recruiting Class 1 Drivers on a temp to perm basis for a supply chain specialist in Leicester, LE3.

Shift Details:

  • Shifts available: Monday to Sunday - 6am or 6pm starts

Pay rates:

  • Monday-Friday AM - £17.37
  • Monday-Friday PM - £20.17
  • Saturday - £21.33
  • Sunday/Bank Holiday AM - £22.48
  • Sunday/Bank Holiday PM - £23.64

All rates are included in the Advanced Holiday Rate.

What we're looking for:

  • Category C+E Licence, DIGI and CPC card
  • 2 years' experience driving Class 1 vehicles
  • Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)
  • DBS check, 5 year employment history check & CO training will need to be completed by client

Job role:

  • Transporting secure air cargo on airport to airport runs
  • Maintain chain of custody at all times
  • Follow all company and CAA security procedures
  • Complete delivery documentation accurately
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure road worthiness
  • Adhere to drivers hours and compliance regulations
