Morson is looking for a Quality Management Specialist for one of our aerospace clients based in Birmingham.

Purpose

Ensure that all CAMO activities are monitored by the CAMO Quality system and to provide assurance of compliance to the Airworthiness Manager Military Flying.

Responsibilities

  • Assurance of CAMO personnel competence
  • Assurance of all Core and non-Core CAMO tasks, processes and procedures
  • Assurance of CAME (Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition) compliance with Regulation
  • CAMO Audit activity
  • Provide assurance of continued compliance with the requirements of MAA approval of the Mil CAM
  • Monitor all Mil CAMO activities performed in accordance with RA (MRP Part M), including verification of procedures and changes within the CAME
  • Use product sampling and sample checks
  • Coordinate across applicable organizations (Maintenance, Forward and Depth or Line and Base, Delivery Teams) and all CAMO activity
  • Ensure annual compliance checks for all sub-contracted activities, either as a single exercise or subdivided over the annual period
  • Assure Alternative Acceptable Means of Compliance, Waivers and Exemption submissions and manage subsequent AWE
  • Assure maintenance activity performed by Maintenance organizations is adequate for maintaining the Continuing Airworthiness of their Air Systems through audits or monitoring
  • Monitor sub-contracted CAMO tasks and ensure documented agreements, including department name, CAMO name, and responsibilities
  • Ensure changes to resourcing of tasks are communicated and agreed, and are referenced in the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME)
  • Arrange regular Corrective Action meetings attended by the Military Continuing Airworthiness Manager and Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager to review progress of remedial actions of non-conformances, and provide meeting reports to the AM (MF)
