You will be joining a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Accrington with a strong presence in its sector. Your new role
This position will primarily focus on general finance support, with responsibilities across transactional finance and month-end processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising and processing sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Managing customer accounts and resolving invoice queries
- Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts
- Maintaining and reconciling intercompany balances
- Assisting with month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting
- Supporting wider finance tasks, including journals and ad-hoc reporting
- Responding to internal and external queries professionally and efficiently
- Contributing to process improvements within the finance function
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant / Accounts Receivable or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Confident communicator with good organisational skills
- Experience using ERP systems
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
- A flexible and proactive approach
