Your new company: We are partnering with a well-established and reputable manufacturing business based in Wigan, currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, 3-month temporary basis, with the potential for extension. Your new role: Due to increased workload, the company is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on finance role and is comfortable working in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end duties
  • Managing supplier queries and statement reconciliations
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
  • Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work independently and manage own workload
  • Good Excel skills (e.g. basic formulas, data handling)
  • Experience within manufacturing or a fast-paced environment is desirable
