Broughton Astley M.O.T Centre Ltd is a long established family run vehicle repairer, with an excellent reputation for our fleet repair services we currently carry out, this includes nearly new Light Commercials and Cars on a daily basis. With a very varied daily schedule of works.
We are looking for a talented Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join the team. It is essential that you have had previous experience on LCV vehicles as a large percentage of the work is Ford based, Volkswagen based and Mercedes based light commercials. Previous experience on vans and cars is essential.
But a wide knowledge of all vehicle makes and models is required.
-Must be fully qualified with at least 5 years experience - ideally from an independent back ground.
-Mot tester qualification in Class 4 is a minimum requirement Class 7 would be an advantage
-Must be able to use diagnostic equipment
-Experience in fault diagnosis
-Basic electrical knowledge is a must
-A strong communicator
-A technical background is essential
-Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
-Own tools and a full driving licence is essential
The basic week is 42.5 hours Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 4.30pm. No weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent - with company pension option
Salary: £45,000.00 -£53,000.00 per year
