We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MOT Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be efficient in their own time management, as well as being of smart appearance, excellent time keeping and polite.
As an MOT Tester / Technician you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of vehicles, performing thorough inspections and tests in accordance with regulatory standards.
Duties- Conduct comprehensive MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
- Be able to carry out inspections and services on a full range of vans and cars of all makes and models set out to company guidelines.
- Identify mechanical issues and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs conducted.
- Uphold very high standards of safety and cleanliness within the workshop environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Time served City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 with M.O.T testers Class 4 minimum.
- Familiarity with most vehicle ranges, vans and cars.
- Previous experience in an MOT testing environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure vehicles are repaired and inspected to the highest standards and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
