Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Lift Installer to join our team covering the East of England and North London areas.
The Role
As an Experienced Lift Installer, you will be responsible for carrying out installations, modernisations, fault finding, repairs, testing, and commissioning of various lift systems and associated equipment. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently on site, and is confident leading jobs and supporting junior operatives where required. Work will be carried out across commercial, residential, educational, and public sector sites throughout the East of England, North London, and occasionally nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Installation and modernisation of platform lifts and associated equipment
- Fault finding, repair, testing, and commissioning of lift systems
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications
- Carrying out site surveys and reporting technical issues where necessary
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Working in line with company procedures and health & safety requirements
- Maintaining clear communication with customers, contractors, and colleagues
- Managing materials, tools, and equipment required for installations
- Keeping job sites organised, safe, and presentable
- Assisting with planning and preparation for upcoming works
- Travelling to customer sites as required, including overnight stays
- Team leading and training new operatives with patience and professionalism

Experience in any of the following products or sectors would be beneficial, along with a willingness to learn new systems and manufacturers:

Requirements
- Proven experience installing and working on lifts
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding abilities
- Good understanding of lift installation practices and site procedures
- Ability to work independently and use initiative on site
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Professional and approachable manner with customers and colleagues
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Industry or manufacturer training advantageous
- CSCS card preferred
