We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to support the daily operations of our busy warehouse. You will play a vital part in ensuring our goods are received, stored, and dispatched safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures. This role operates on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern — working 12-hour shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately handle inbound deliveries and outbound collections following company SOPs.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (FLT licence essential).
- Process stock movements using our D365 system in a timely, precise manner.
- Participate in regular stock takes and cycle counts.
- Maintain accurate records, both physically and digitally.
- Support other warehouse teams where required.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with Health & Safety procedures.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
- Current FLT licence (essential).
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Proactive and takes initiative when solving problems.
- Understanding of ERP/warehouse management systems (D365 knowledge a bonus).
- Commitment to health, safety, food safety, and quality standards.
