Kilver Court is looking for a passionate, highly organised Events & Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting, hands-on role for someone with a great eye for detail who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys delivering curated events alongside creative marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Delivery
- Organising and managing events from initial enquiry through to delivery and post-event follow up and working with the Head of Operations to ensure event logistics are seamless.
- Setting out a yearly event diary.
- Managing event setup, on-site operations and teardown.
- Producing accurate event documentation and detailed function sheets.
- Coordinating suppliers, staffing requirements and staff briefings.
- Managing and supporting the catering front of house team on event days.
- Working closely with chefs to ensure seamless communication between the kitchen and events team.
- Troubleshooting and handling client queries on the day to ensure events run smoothly.
- Operational & Commercial Focus
- Managing multiple events simultaneously.
- Demonstrating strong commercial awareness with a focus on profitability.
- Maintaining exceptional attention to detail across all aspects of event delivery.
- Marketing & Content
- Supporting marketing activity across digital platforms.
- Assisting with content creation, social media management and on-site filming with our social media consultant.
- Using basic design and office tools to support marketing campaigns.
Required Experience & Qualities
- Experience in a professional, high-quality hospitality environment.
- Experience in a similar events management role.
- At least 1 year’s experience in a marketing or events role.
- Highly positive and professional attitude and appearance.
- Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Office 365.
Essential Requirements
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Desirable
- Experience in content creation, video editing or social media management.
- Experience using Canva, Photoshop or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
- An interest in gardening, interiors, home or lifestyle content.
- Design background.
