Family-owned since 1992, Brothers Drinks combines 14 generations of cider-making heritage with cutting-edge production. Based at our 40-acre site in Shepton Mallet, we operate one of the UKs largest drinks production facilities, producing over 550 million units annually across six high-tech filling lines, including cans, bottles, PET, kegs, and bulk liquid. We pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and integrity, supplying major retailers and global brands. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Process team and are looking for a dedicated individual to join us.

The Role

You will be responsible for the dissolving of granular sugars (fructose and sucrose) and blending of ingredients such as ginger beer bases, citric acid, and malic acid, supporting the production of high-quality beverages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out product testing and analysis
  • Load and offload road tankers safely
  • Weigh and handle ingredients, including lifting 25kg bags
  • Operate plant machinery to dissolve powders such as sugar and acids
  • Perform CIP (Clean-in-Place) processes on tanks and equipment
  • Maintain accurate production records and raise work orders using Microsoft D365
  • Transfer liquid products to filling lines, ensuring adherence to CCPs and quality standards
  • Manage ingredient storage, ensuring cleanliness and correct stock rotation (FIFO)
  • Follow COSHH guidelines and use PPE appropriately
  • Maintain GMP standards and carry out cleaning duties as required across the site
  • Operate waste baling equipment and manage waste disposal

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or process environment (food and beverage preferred)
  • Forklift licence is advantageous, though full training will be provided
  • Good IT and computer skills
  • Comfortable working at height
  • A proactive and reliable team player with strong attention to detail

Shift Pattern

40 hours per week
Rotating shifts:
Early: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Late: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
