Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator Apprentice

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Brother’s European headquarters in Manchester for a Supply Chain Coordinator Apprentice To provide professional and efficient supply chain and logistics support to European offices, suppliers and BIE by using sophisticated data processing systems and maintaining high levels of stock availability within the group. You will support to achieve good inventory levels through demand planning and on time logistics and help management achieve the operational objectives of the department.

Within this role you will receive full support to undertake the Level 3 Procurement Apprenticeship and receive the CIPS certification.

Main Tasks

1. Provide inventory control support.
2. Complete inbound logistics and container planning.
3. Execute the demand planning strategies.
4. Communicate effectively between the European HQ, regional offices, and the Global HQ in Japan.
5. Support the achievement of the departments operational objectives.
6. Maintain high levels of stock availability within the group.
7. Utilise the sophisticated data processing systems to support the supply chain and logistics activities.
8. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams for seamless supply chain operations.
9. Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, logistics performance, and other key metrics.

About you

• Strong PC skills including Microsoft office (excel, PowerPoint and word)
• Keen eye for detail
• Interest in supply chain management and procurement
• Analytical thinking skills
• A strong team player
• GCSE Maths & English grade A*-C/9-4
