About the Role
As an IT Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day operation of the IT department while developing your technical knowledge and practical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line IT support to colleagues both onsite and remotely
- Diagnose technical issues and identify appropriate solutions
- Support end users and ensure issues are resolved effectively
- Back up, restore and transfer user data
- Configure and deploy laptops, desktops and other IT equipment
- Maintain hardware including laptops, desktops, printers and peripherals
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and Windows operating systems
- Assist with software installations, system updates and patch management
- Support hardware replacement activities
- Assist with basic networking tasks and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and records
