An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail-oriented marketing specialist to join our European Digital Marketing team. This role focuses on Marketing Automation, supporting the execution and optimisation of CRM and lead generation activities across Europe. You’ll play a key role in delivering strategic and tactical campaigns, driving platform growth and adoption, and ensuring best practices within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

Purpose of the role:

  • Champion our “At your side” ethos through impactful digital engagement.
  • Lead the operational delivery of the marketing automation roadmap across European markets.
  • Act as a hands-on SFMC specialist, building, testing, and deploying campaigns.
  • Drive adoption and education of the platform through training and documentation.
  • Manage and deliver end-to-end projects from brief to execution.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define and prioritise development requirements.
  • Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria for both BAU and project-based work.
  • Conduct UAT and ensure quality assurance for all automation initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional teams with CRM integration and campaign execution.
  • Contribute to optimising customer journeys and elevating marketing automation within the business.
  • Elevate the profile of marketing automation within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data, segmentation, and campaign requirements.
  • Build, test, and deploy multi-channel marketing automation campaigns (email, SMS, landing pages, forms).
  • Support Pan-European CRM campaigns with effective localisation and segmentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data, Salesforce, Sitecore forms, and campaign performance.
  • Capture and translate requirements for email templates and modular assets, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Analyse data segmentation needs to enable personalised and targeted marketing.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to local offices on SFMC usage and troubleshooting.
  • Promote digital best practices across the business as a marketing automation subject matter expert.
  • Support project management with OneIT Product Owner, development teams, and business stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and email development best practices.
  • Degree or equivalent in Digital Marketing or related field.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general digital tools.
  • Understanding of UX principles and digital customer journeys.
  • Experience with other marketing automation platforms (including CDP).
  • AmpScript knowledge.
  • Awareness of CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore).
  • Understanding of analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
  • Experience with JIRA and other task management tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
