We are seeking a Product Owner to drive the delivery and continuous improvement of our sales and finance planning systems, supporting products, platforms, and business capabilities that support our strategic objectives. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will translate business needs into prioritised deliverables, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value, improve customer and colleague experiences, and contribute to commercial success.

The successful candidate will act as a key link between business and delivery teams, balancing customer needs, business priorities, technical considerations and operational requirements to maximise value. Role Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap
    • Define, maintain, and communicate a clear product roadmap aligned to business objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for product enhancements, process improvements, and new capabilities.
    • Work with stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into deliverable outcomes.
    • Ensure product decisions are driven by business value, customer needs, and data insights.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build strong relationships with business leaders, subject matter experts, and delivery teams.
    • Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and product reviews.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions and prioritisation.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations, balancing competing priorities and dependencies.
  • Product Delivery
    • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are clearly defined and understood.
    • Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
    • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, architects, and third-party partners to deliver product enhancements and initiatives.
    • Support testing, deployment, change management, and adoption activities.
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement
    • Define, monitor, and report on product KPIs and success measures.
    • Use customer feedback, operational metrics, and business insights to inform product decisions.
    • Continuously evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
    • Ensure benefits realisation is measured and communicated to stakeholders.

About You

Essentials

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar delivery-focused role.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into prioritised product backlogs and deliverables.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and influencing outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of how products contribute to business objectives.

Desirables

  • Knowledge of CRM, ERP, web, digital, or customer-facing platforms.
  • Experience working with analytics and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of customer journey mapping and process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure, Confluence, or similar product management tools.
