We are looking for an experienced European Finance Process Owner to join our team. This is a pivotal role responsible for driving standardisation, efficiency, and compliance across finance processes within a multi-country, multi-department organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the design, performance, and continuous improvement of a specific finance process across the entire organisation.
- Design, govern, and improve end-to-end finance processes.
- Ensure processes are standardised, documented, efficient, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure consistent application of finance policies, controls, and reporting standards across all European entities.
- Monitor KPIs and performance across European entities and implement improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Partner closely with local finance teams, IT, and AR/AP Shared Services to maintain alignment, consistency, and quality across countries and departments.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Professional experience from a UK Big 4 accountancy firm or similar high-calibre environment.
- Strong understanding of European finance operations and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead process design and improvement initiatives in complex, international environments.
- Willingness to travel regularly for in-person meetings at European offices.
