Broster Buchanan are working with a high growth B2B company to recruit a Head of Finance to be based in the Midlands (hybrid options). As Head of Finance you will have responsibility for reporting, planning and analysis and act as a trusted advisor for business leaders to assist decision making and improve financial performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers, stakeholders and their teams providing financial support to commercial decision making.
  • Overseeing financial control activities, e.g. managing month-end close process.
  • Challenging assumptions, influencing decisions and making recommendations for efficiency improvements in order to sustain growth.
  • Demonstrating thought leadership by presenting alternative recommendations to existing approaches.
  • Managing and developing a high performing team.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong business partnering and analytical skills. Effective stakeholder engagement skills are essential for this role. My client is looking for an exceptional communicator who is comfortable business partnering and influencing senior finance and non-finance stakeholders. They will possess demonstrable experience of operating in a complex, multi-site organisation, and from a personality perspective candidates will have an appetite for driving continuous improvement. This role offers home working but will require regular UK wide travel.
