Credit Controller in Stoke-on-Trent

£35K + Benefits Hybrid (3 days on site, 2 from home) Credit Control experience essential This is a hands-on, end-to-end credit control role , ideal for someone confident chasing debt, resolving queries and building strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.?? The role You'll be responsible for: Proactively managing customer accounts to ensure timely payment Chasing overdue debt by telephone and email Investigating and resolving invoice and payment disputes Monitoring and managing customer credit limits Carrying out credit checks on new and existing accounts Placing accounts on stop / suspension in line with procedures Liaising with external solicitors or debt recovery agencies when required Maintaining accurate records of all credit control activity Supporting month end reporting and providing analysis where needed What we're looking for Minimum 3 years' experience in a Credit Control role Strong knowledge of end-to-end credit control processes Confident communicator with a professional but firm approach Highly organised, detail-focused and resilient Comfortable m...
