Base pay range

Broster Buchanan are working with an International manufacturing company to recruit for a Senior Project Accountant for a 12 month contract to be based at one of the UK sites or remotely. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will be key in supporting the financial management of both capital and commercial projects. This will involve working with stakeholders in all areas of the business including Operational Directors and HR.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with key stakeholders to maintain and improve the project forecasting process
• Support Project Managers in data preparation and analysis for monthly project financial reports
• Take ownership of critical month end tasks such as project cost allocation.
• Work with the wider finance team to develop financial systems
• Support the finance team with managing the cashflow in relation to project income and costs

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience of management reporting and accounting for capital projects within a manufacturing company. You will have strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.
