Our client in County Durham is seeking to recruit a Management Accountant. The business is a regional success story and offers great prospects for career development.
At a detailed level responsibilities will include:
- Leading the month end process
- Manage and process credit card and expenses
- Overseeing Credit Control and Purchase Ledger functions
- Monitor Cashflow Management and Quarterly Cashflow Forecasts with commentary
- Stock valuation for raw materials
- Maintaining standard cost records
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monthly management accounts and budget reports with variance analysis
- Lead the annual external audit
Potential candidates should ideally meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of Intermediate (AAT Level 4) or part qualification from recognised professional accounting body with a minimum of 3 years workplace experience
- Knowledge of Sage 200 or similar accounting package
- Excellent communication skills
