Broster Buchanan are supporting our client in their search for a Purchase Ledger Specialist. Our client is a successful retail organisation looking to appoint an experienced Purchase Ledger Specialist to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong purchase ledger experience who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Managing supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
  • Completing supplier reconciliations and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid on time
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Utilising SAP and Excel to maintain, analyse and report financial information

Ideal candidate qualifications:

  • Previous experience within a purchase ledger, accounts payable or similar finance role
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Experience of an ERP system pref SAP
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
  • The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines in a busy finance environment
