Job Description Broster Buchanan are recruiting for a Management Accountant to be based in Peterborough, initially office based with future hybrid working, 3 days office. We're partnering with a well-established global manufacturer to recruit a talented Management Accountant for their finance team in Peterborough. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, improving processes and providing the financial insight that supports strategic decision-making. The Role As Management Accountant, you'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts process while ensuring financial reporting is accurate, timely and compliant. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement projects and support the wider finance function. Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to agreed deadlines. Complete and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances. Produce monthly and quarterly financial reporting packs for senior management and the global parent company. Manage the monthly payroll process, liaising with the external payroll provider and reviewing payroll outputs. Support the year-end audit process, ensuring deadlines are met. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting. Provide support, guidance and knowledge sharing across the finance team. Deliver meaningful financial information to support business performance and decision-making. An experienced Management Accountant with strong month-end reporting experience. Ideally part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA), although qualified by experience candidates will also be considered. Confident preparing balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports. Comfortable working to tight deadlines within a fast-paced manufacturing or commercial environment.
