Our client in County Durham is seeking to recruit a Management Accountant in the £42,000 to £45,000 pa range.

  • Leading the month end process
  • Manage and process credit card and expenses
  • Overseeing Credit Control and Purchase Ledger functions
  • Monitor Cashflow Managementand Quarterly Cashflow Forecasts with commentary
  • Stock valuation for raw materials
  • Maintaining standard cost records
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly management accounts and budget reports with variance analysis
  • Lead the annual external audit
  • Potential candidates should ideally meet the following criteria
  • Minimum of Intermediate (AAT Level 4) or part qualification from recognised professional accounting body with a minimum of 3 years workplace experience
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 or similar accounting package
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised and detail orientated
  • A team player
  • Good IT Skills (particularly Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Salary range will be £42,000 to £45,000 pa
