We have a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven Senior Finance Business Partner to join a large, complex UK organisation at a pivotal stage of operational and financial transformation. You will operate at the centre of a major performance improvement while partnering with senior operational leaders to turn strategic initiatives into measurable financial outcomes. This role is about influence, value creation, and ensuring transformation activity delivers tangible EBITDA improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Partnering with operational and project leaders on performance improvement and optimisation initiatives
- Providing financial oversight, risk identification, and commercial challenge across transformation programmes
- Building clear links between project milestones and EBITDA delivery
- Developing and maintaining value tracking models to ensure savings and improvements are captured in financial results
- Leading the preparation and evaluation of investment business cases (ROI, NPV, payback)
- Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes by integrating transformation timelines into financial planning
- Working closely with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making and promoting financial discipline
- Representing finance within senior project and steering forums where required
Key requirements:
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Strong post-qualification experience in commercial finance or business partnering roles
- A proven track record working within large, complex organisations
- Experience supporting transformation, turnaround, or large-scale change programmes (desirable)
- Strong financial modelling and investment appraisal skills
- The ability to translate operational activity into clear financial impact
- Confidence influencing and challenging senior non-finance stakeholders
