Broster Buchanan are partnering with a well-established and growing property sector organisation based in the Manchester area to recruit a Transaction Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to lead a high-performing transactional finance function, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Banking operations.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial controls, driving process improvements, and delivering an efficient, customer-focused finance service across the business.

  • Leading and developing the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Banking teams.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of supplier payments, customer receipts, and bank transactions.
  • Managing cash flow reporting, cash forecasting, and daily treasury activities.
  • Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, systems, and service delivery.
  • Overseeing reconciliations, month-end activities, and audit requirements across transaction finance.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including banking providers.
  • Providing leadership, coaching, and development support to the transactional finance team.

About You

  • Proven experience managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Banking functions.
  • Strong people management and team leadership experience.
  • A track record of improving finance processes, controls, and efficiencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment; housing sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
