Broster Buchanan are partnering with a leading services business based in Manchester to appoint a Head of FP&A.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a high-profile role with significant influence across the organisation. The successful candidate will lead the FP&A function, providing the insight, challenge and commercial perspective needed to support strategic decision-making and continued growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance leader who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment and wants to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing the FP&A function, driving a high-performing, commercially focused team
- Owning the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes
- Providing insightful analysis and performance reporting to the CFO and Executive Leadership Team
- Translating financial and operational data into clear, actionable commercial insight
- Partnering with senior operational leaders to drive performance, profitability and sustainable growth
- Developing and enhancing management information, reporting and KPI frameworks
- Supporting strategic projects, investment decisions and business planning
- Driving continuous improvement across FP&A processes, systems and reporting
We are looking for:
- A strong finance professional with significant FP&A and commercial finance experience
- Experience operating at a senior level within a complex, ideally services-led, organisation
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insight
- A confident business partner who can influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Strong leadership capability, with experience building and developing high-performing teams
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach
