Broster Buchanan are supporting our client, an acquisitive, fast-growing business with a significant UK and international footprint, in the appointment of a Group Finance Business Partner on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This is a high-impact role sitting at the centre of a complex and evolving group structure, partnering with senior leadership to drive performance, integration, and value creation across the business.
The Opportunity
As Group Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making across the group. With frequent acquisitions and a diverse portfolio of operating businesses, you will help ensure financial insight, control and commercial rigour underpin every stage of growth. You will act as a key link between Group Finance and operational leadership, providing clear, actionable insight and challenging where necessary to maximise profitability and return on investment.
Key Responsibilities
- Business partner senior stakeholders across the group, providing high-quality financial insight and commercial challenge
- Lead group-wide budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
- Support acquisition integration, including financial modelling, synergies, and post-deal performance tracking
- Deliver meaningful variance analysis, KPI reporting and performance dashboards
- Drive consistency, controls and best practice across a complex multi-entity environment
- Support strategic initiatives, investment cases and long-term planning
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in a Group Finance, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering role within a fast-paced environment
- Confident working with senior leadership and non-finance stakeholders
- Highly analytical with the ability to turn data into commercial insight
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, evolving business with changing priorities
