Our client is an established player in the records vetting sector. Privately owned, the business is profitable with a consistent record of steady growth and has an enviable reputation for both quality and client service supplying to the private and public sectors.

The business is now seeking to recruit a Managing Director to accelerate the pace of growth, which could be achieved organically, and potentially through strategic acquisition. The opportunities are very material in every sense.

Reporting directly to shareholders the Managing Director will be responsible for helping formulate and execute strategy to drive the aforementioned growth. Achievement of agreed targets will be amply rewarded in the form of performance related bonuses, with potential equity involvement further down the track.

The person could be based anywhere in the UK, and travel will be required both to centres of operations and to a UK wide customer base.

Potential candidates should have experience within the sector and will have been involved in a business where growth has been high on the agenda.

Applicants should already be in a senior management role, and may have progressed through a sales, technical or operations route, although this need not be definitive.

You should be able to demonstrate the ability to formulate and execute strategically, whilst leadership qualities are taken as given.

It is envisaged that basic salary will be in the £80,000 to £100,000 pa range, with performance related bonuses, but will not be a barrier for the right candidate.
